Christian Hands Children’s Home: We provide housing, 3 meals daily, education, physical needs, spiritual needs and medical care as needed to orphans of the AIDS epidemic.
Christian Hands Academy: The Academy provides quality basic education for orphans in the area. We hire P-1 teachers that are registered with the Teacher Education Commission in Nairobi. Our classes are from Nursery through Form IV (12th grade). We are not requiring a uniform to attend and we provide for text books and school supplies.
Vacation Bible School: Spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ is done during the month of July for two weeks. You are given the program plan, proveded information about your housing and the costs of the stay that need to be paid 30 days prior to departure. Soup Kitchens: ’for children only’ We are preparing to establish Soup Kitchens in each of the five slums around our Home in Kenya. It will provide at least a cup of soup and a piece of bread to more than 1500 children on a regular basis between 11am and 2pm. We have a list of 30 nutritional soups that we make. The bread will come from our own kitchen by our teens.
Missionary Training Institute: In September 2010, our Missionary Training Institute begins to offer to the churches in the area. It is a 6 month group training to enable them to go out into their community to offer solutions to their physical and spiritual needs through Jesus Christ.
Street Children’s Ministry: There are more than 10,000 street children across Kenya who don’t know how to read or do basic math. We are in the process of establishing self-help groups across Nairobi that provides basic educational services to these children.
Pastor’s Conferences: The kind of conferences we are providing are to teach the pastors in rural areas how to develop and nourish their congregations based on biblical teachings of Jesus Christ. You provide the dates and time and we will make sure you have all the materials you need.
Women to Women Ministry: When we meet women with a particular need, it is our duty as Christians to do what we can to help and give solid advice for the future.
Corporate Retreats: There are so many picturesque venues in Kenya. It would minimize your staff’s stress level greatly, from a hotel that allows you to wake up to monkeys as you watch the baboon groom at their favorite tree to camping on specific game reserves.
